Christmas books

I have been having trouble with my camera so hoping Santa will bring me a new one.
Here are a couple of christmas presents I made.

House book

I adapted a book I had so I could use 8x8 papers.
It is a present for a friends birthday.

National memorium Arboretum

I took my Dad to visit the Merchant Navy memorium.

Noel Book

I enjoyed making the fairy book so I had a go at a christmas one.

Fairy Book

I felt like crafting but could not get inspired so I bought some Dovcraft papers and embellishments and just made the book.
I have the large sizzix alphabet and cut the letters and distressed then before adding to the book.

Weekend away

I went to Chester for the weekend to a crop. I dont do much scrapbooking but I try.
I did a photography class with Cheryl and she digitally altered me into black and white as all my photos make me look very red.

Halloween

My husband's birthday is on halloween and we usually have a family party so I thought I would make some invitations.
The images are from gaby's collage sheets.

Cuttlebug flowers

I got this a while go but have only just had a chance to try it.

Alcohol inks Idea

Today I laminated a piece of accetate inside a laminate pocket to make it stiffer.
I then cut out 2 scalloped circles and decorated them with alcohol inks then made some pages for inside to make it into a mini book.
I stamped the cover with Brilliance platinum very carefully.

Latest idea

I have wanted a flower punch this shape for a while but I wanted it bigger.
I cut one out then made it bigger and then bigger again. I now have a pattern I can reuse to make layered flowers.

Monochrome Tag you're it challenge

I decided on green for this challenge. I embossed with the cuttlebug flower and inked with green ink.

Cuttlebug Inchies

On UK stampers there is an inchie swap with the theme numbers.
I had an idea to try the number folder for inchies so I embossed the card cut the inchies inked and then heat embossed with clear powder.

Cuttlebug leaf

I made these for a challenge on UK Stampers so my first idea did not work as I had not stamped.
I decided to stamp some skeleton leaves and try again.
I hope to embellish when I decide where to use them.

La princess

I never managed to get a good view but I thought the idea was great. The kids from school went and loved getting soaked.

I meant to do more sewing but I wanted to try my new cuttlebug die. I did sew the button on .

Triptych's

I had a play with my distressing inks at the weekend.

Christmas card

I started making 4 x 4 toppas then decided they would make good christmas cards.
The santa is from crafty individuals and the frame is sizzix.

Mini heart art.

I bought some 4x4 mountboard frames and coloured them using Tim Holtz's distressing inks in warm lipstick and aged mahogony then stamped with paperartsy heart stamps and framed hearts from crafty indviduals.

I used the twinchies on my jigsaw atcs.

I bought some paperartsy stamps from the fruit pixie and couldn't wait to play with them.

Matchbox and mini book

I used the rest of the flower images to make a mini book.

I made these today from some sheets of flowers I got from the fruit pixie.

Punch art tag.

I enjoyed this weeks challenge.
I embossed the tag with the cuttlebug.
I cut and embossed the red flowers and layered with some cut from the same paper as I used for the background.

Altered Postcards.

I love altering postcards.

I had another play.

I had another go with the stamp and used watercoloured pencils.

I went to a stamp club meeting last night and we watched a demonstration.
I fell in love with the mushroom stamps and hope to get the castles at the show in Port Sunlight in October.
